Concrete pump: practical theoretical training courses for concrete pump workers (14 hours)

A reference to general legislation on occupational hygiene and safety, with particular reference to work on temporary or mobile construction sites (D.Lgs 81/2008). Operator responsibility.

  • Pump categories: the various types of pumps and description of general and specific characteristics.
  • Structural components : stabilization systems, leveling, chassis.
  • Command and security devices: locating and operating control devices, locating security devices and their function
  • Checks to be made before use: visual and functional, command, signal, and safety controls provided by the manufacturer in the instruction manual.
  • Safe and risky use: analysis and assessment of the most common risks in the use of pumps (risks of electrocution, environmental risks, risks due to bumps and falls at the level, risk of crushing, etc.). Moving and translactiation positioning and stabilization, drives and maneuvers, parking safely at the end of the work.
  • Departure from the drilling plant, road transport, access to the construction site: technical characteristics of the vehicle; pre-departure checks; ascent mode on the vehicle; norms of conduct on ordinary traffic; rules of conduct in safe access and transit on site; The DPI to use.
  • Pre-discharge behaviour rules: piping and joint checks; placing and stabilizing the vehicle using side stabilizers and level bubble; accommodation of the compartmentalizing plates; Checking the suitability of the concrete exhaust site; opening of the pump arm.
  • Rules of conduct for the unloading of concrete: precautions to be taken for pumping in the presence of power lines, pumping near traffic routes; handling of the pump arm by radio control; start of pumping; pumping concrete.
  • Cleaning the medium: washing pipe pump arm, pump body wash
  • Extraordinary pump maintenance: Check the send pipes, pumping system and hopper.
  • Identification of structural components: stabilization systems, leveling, chassis, connection systems.
  • Command and security devices: identification of the control devices and their operation, identification of security devices and their function.
  • Pre-use controls: Visual and functional controls of the pump, control, signaling, and safety devices provided by the manufacturer in the pump instruction manual.
  • Pre-departure checks: tires, oil leaks, rubber terminal locking, stabilizer locking, locking sections of the pump arm.
  • Route planning: slopes, access, obstacles on the route and at altitude, terrain conditions
  • Rules of conduct on ordinary traffic
  • Concrete discharge site suitability check: finding the presence of yielding ground, the suitability of the distance from any excavations, ground slope suitability.
  • Placement and stabilisation of the vehicle: delimitation of the work area, signage to be prepared on public roads, placement by side stabilizers and level bubble in standard mode and with additional support for low ground Lift.
  • Accommodation of the compartmentalizing plates.
